Kevin J. Karpin

Kevin’s legal career has been devoted to the aggressive representation of companies and individuals in a wide variety of litigation practice areas. While Kevin’s practice has focused on business litigation and employment litigation, he also has extensive experience in the litigation of tort, construction, and real estate cases. He has successfully represented clients as both plaintiffs and defendants and in all phases of litigation. Prior to joining Seyferth Blumenthal & Harris, LLC, Kevin practiced for sixteen years in the Kansas City area offices of Shook, Hardy & Bacon, LLP. Kevin is licensed to practice before the State and Federal Courts in both Kansas and Missouri. Kevin’s professional honors include:

• Recognized for work on the American Bar Association’s Military Pro Bono Project, Legal Aid of Western Missouri’s Voluntary Attorney Project, Shook, Hardy & Bacon’s Pro Bono Adoption Program, and Duke University School of Law’s Alumni Outreach Program;
• Elected as Vice President of the Board of the Kansas City Jewish Community Campus;
• Selected for membership in Kansas City Art Institute’s Young Professional Group Auxiliary Board;
• Actively involved in several other civic and charitable organizations in the Kansas City Area
